The US posted an international trade deficit of $87.3 billion in August, down $2.9 billion from July, according to Commerce Department data released Wednesday.
The numbers remain unchanged from August 2021.
No Restriction on Transit Trade Transactions
The country’s exports totaled $179.8 billion in August 2022, down 0.9% month-on-month and up 20.8% year-on-year.
The country’s imports totaled $267.11 billion, down 1.7% from July and up 13.1% from August 2021.
