Toyota stopped Harrier SUV orders
Nikkei’s business reported that Toyota Motors Corp has canceled or stopped some orders of the Harrier Sports Utility Vehicle. The main cause that has been seen is due to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 lockdown in Shanghai.
It is also mentioned in the report that customers may switch their orders to improved Harrier, which will be delivered in early September.
It is believed that this is the first time that an order received by Toyota has been abandoned due to a problem at carmaker issue, according to the report, citing several anonymous dealers.
Toyota had no immediate comment yet regarding Toyota stopped Harrier SUV orders due to production delay.
