The FBI recovered “Top Secret” and even more sensitive documents of the Mar-A-Lago Farm of former President Donald Trump in Florida.

A real estate receipt revealed by the court shows that the FBI agents took 11 series of classified records of the farm during a search on Monday.

Attorney General Merrick Garland asked a judge to unseal those documents because of all the backlash from the former president and his Republican allies.

News has obtained what appears to be the search warrant executed at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property. The filing indicates that the Justice Department is investigating a potential violation of at least three separate criminal statutes, including a statute under the Espionage Act.

Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee demanding detailed answers from the FBI and the Department of Justice, about the court-authorized search.

Ohio GOP Representative Mike Turner says if Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI director Christopher Wray, do not voluntarily release more information to the committee. Democrats on the panel should issue a subpoena to compel them.

That would break with long-standing DOJ guidelines, which prohibit sharing details of an ongoing investigation. Sources tell News that documents the FBI believed were illegally in Trump’s possession were sensitive material with national security implications. Some of them are marked special access, requiring the highest security clearances to view them.

News also reported that some of the material in Trump’s possession included documents related to nuclear weapons.

There are laws against the improper handling of this material.

Attorney General Merrick Garland says he personally approved the search warrant request approved by a federal judge, who was convinced that there was evidence of a crime at the former president’s primary residence.

News has learned the DOJ issued a subpoena for the documents in April. Then a small group of FBI agents visited Trump in June, requesting he returned the sensitive material before escalating to a search warrant.

Republicans continue to threaten the DOJ and FBI with their own investigations of the agency. If they take back control of Congress, they claim it’s about oversight and transparency in Washington.
