Another accused was arrested by Karachi police on Sunday in the case of young boy Jazlan’s murder. One accused is already arrested which means 2 of the 4 accused are still left to be caught.
The police came into proper action and arrested one accused today due to the #JusticeforJazlan trend that has gone viral on social media. This trend has secured almost thousands of retweets.
Senior Superintendent of Malir Police told to media that Muhammad Irfan has been arrested today and Mohammad Faiz has also been arrested the father of the three accused.
Imran Aslam Khan, uncle of the killed young boy told to Media that Jazlan was an orphan and have two more siblings. His father Faisal died in 2012 and his elder sister lives in Australia where she is doing a chartered accountancy course.
Cause of Murder
FIR is registered on the complaint of Arif Sabir, an uncle of killed Jazlan. This F.I.R is against 4 accused including 3 brothers.
Arif Sabir stated In the F.I.R that Shahmir (A friend of Jazlan) called him on Wednesday around 2 am and asked to come to Agha Khan Hospital as soon as possible.
When Arif Sabir saw both Shahmir and Jazlan were in the emergency ward. Both of them received bullets due to which Jazlan was very serious while Shahmir was able to talk.
Shahmir told that he was traveling with Jazlan and Zargam in Zargam’s car. Their car was on Jinnah Avenue in Bahria Town when they saw a young boy was riding a bike in a dangerous way and their car was about to hit by the bike,
They both showed anger toward that bike rider but he started using abusive language with them.
The young biker called his brothers by making a call. After having some hot words with that biker, Jazlan and Shahmir drove away but they saw a bike and car following them.
On reaching the Eiffel Tower Bahria Town, accused persons who were following them in the car opened fire on the victims. Shahmir and Jazlan both received bullets while Zargam was lucky that he didn’t receive any bullets.
Jazlan was bad luck that he received a bullet in his head. After that incident, many people rushed to the spot and shifted Shahmir and Jazlan to the nearby hospital but later they were shifted to Agha Khan Hospital. Jazlan died during the process of statement.
SSP Mahar told to media that their weapon was more likely to be unlicensed as all of the accused were teenagers but police have not found that pistol yet.
