GCIL got approval to establish the largest Pakistani Air Separation Unit.
One of the subsidiary companies GCIL- Ghani Chemical Industries Limited, also one of the largest producers of medical and industrial gases in Pakistan, has received approval from the Department of Environment, and the Special Economic Zone Hattar KPK, for the regulation of Pakistan’s largest Air Separation Factory (oxygen manufacturing).
The factory will have a capacity to produce 270 tons of medical and industrial gases per day.

According to the company, this factory would meet the increasing demand for medical and industrial gases in KPK, Gilgal Baltistan, Central Asia, and other Pakistan CPEC projects to come.
The company also revealed that after the sanction of the merger program by the Honorable High Court of Lahore, G3 Technologies Limited (GTECH / Another associated company) will be merged with GCIL, and GCIL will obtain the status of a listed entity at PSX.
The decision on the merger petition is expected soon.
